Womens Self Defense Classes
Komodo Taekwondo & Martial Arts specializes in women’s self-defense training for girls and women of all ages. Women’s self-defense isn’t just a standard martial arts class—it’s built around practical, real-life situations that women may actually encounter.
You should be able to defend yourself even if you’re at a size or strength disadvantage. Real-life confrontations can be frightening, and having confidence in your abilities is half the battle. We teach women’s self-defense at our own facility, but we also offer seminars and on-site sessions at client locations. Please note that outside facilities may require specific licensing or permissions depending on their policies.

Improve your strength, cardio, flexibility, endurance, and overall confidence. You’ll see steady progress with each class or training session. Women’s self-defense classes are not belt-based—they focus strictly on the essential skills needed for real-world protection.
If groups want to train toward a belt or rank, we can adjust the curriculum to include the additional requirements needed to advance. Please note that the minimum age for women’s self-defense training is 14, as the practice involves a higher level of controlled contact.
Class pricing is based on the number of participants and any required travel time. All necessary equipment is provided, and we’ll let you know ahead of time if there’s anything specific you should bring.
